Would this give me four-corner idle control for my 750 Holley.....? I have a 525 HP Boss 351 Cleveland swapped into an '86 Thunderbird. The engine idles at 1,400 RPM with about 6-6.5" of vacuum. The cam is a Cam Dynamics grind with 266/276 @ .050 and .616/.642 lift on 108 centers.....(maybe 106's... I used to run this motor with a "Glide and a brake.) Anyhow, even with 5/16th's holes drilled in the primary throttle blades and the idle mixture screws backed out 6 turns (there's no screw left in the fuel passageway!! The 8itch is free-flowing idle fuel!!) it wants more idle fuel. I'm thinking of borrowing a primary metering block from one of the 600's on my tunnel ram set-up, and using it as a secondary metering block in the back of the 750. Saturn . How to Prepare Steel Bumper Bars for Spray PaintingOff-road enthusiasts often add steel bumper bars to their vehicle as an extra protection from striking animals or other obstacles. These bumper bars can be customized with a paint job to suit about any taste. Remove the bumper bars from the vehicle and prepare the surface correctly before paint is applied. Difficulty:Challenging Instructions Things You'll Need Adjustable wrenches Drop cloth Degreaser soap Clean cloths Sandpaper Wire brushes Rust inhibitor metal primer in a spray can Step by Step : 1 Place the drop cloth in a wind free but ventilated area and spread it out. Remove the bumper bar by detaching it from the bumper mounts on the frame at the front of your vehicle with the adjustable wrenches and set it where it can be most easily cleaned. Clean any grease, oil or other debris from the bumper with the degreaser and a clean cloth. Allow the bumper to dry before proceeding. 2 Remove any old paint, rust or rough spots from the bumper bars with the sandpaper and the wire brush. Use the wire brush around welds, corners or other areas of the bumper that cannot be easily sanded smooth. Sand the entire assembly down to bare metal and wipe dust free with a clean cloth. 3 Set the bumper on the clean, dust free drop cloth. Shake the spray can of primer vigorously to mix the contents thoroughly. Apply a thin coat of the metal rust inhibitor primer to the bumper with the spray can held about 8-12 inches away from the surface and going back and forth over the surface in a smooth motion. Allow the primer to dry and lightly sand off any drips or runs on the surface. Wipe the dust off the surface and apply another coat of primer in the same manner. Allow this coat to dry before proceeding. 4 Turn bumper bar over on the drop cloth and repeat step 3, completely covering the surface with two good coats of the primer. Tips & Warnings A naval jelly rust converter can be applied in areas where even the wire brush cannot remove all rust. Keep the area where you are applying the primer as dust free as possible to ensure the smoothest primer coating possible. Wear a breathing face mask when applying the primer and make sure the area is adequately ventilated.

Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Sandpaper Auto body patch Primer Paint Step by Step : 1 Force all dents out from the inner side of the bumper. Sand the damaged area on the bumper, ensuring that you remove all scratches and debris. 2 Apply patch compound to all holes and smooth it out so that the compound is flush with the bumper. Allow the patch compound to dry for three hours. 3 Sand the patch until it is smooth and completely flush with the surface of the bumper cover. Apply primer and paint and allow to dry overnight. Two coats of primer should be applied and allowed to dry for three hours. At least three coats of paint should be applied and allowed to dry over night.
